Summary:
As a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler, you are responsible for effectively performing all the required duties of the position in an accurate, thorough, and safe manner outlined per the Carl Buddig and Company job description.

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Implement proper procedures for packaging department.
Add/Create packaging department schedules to ensure that all packaging/ is performed and completed in a timely fashion.
Perform all supervisory functions during the absence of a supervisor.
Participate as a witness in the disciplinary process.
Analyze situations to provide solutions that are in the best interest of the company.
Maintain accurate records and reports.
Must be able to check inventory, yields, variances, basket assignments in Knowledgemine.
Must lead the huddles in RedZone, ensure operator checks are done accurately, check for missed checks, enter comments for missed or failed checks.
Evaluate daily overhead to ensure that we have the accurate staffing to run all lines.
Assign and provide direction on the daily tasks to other packaging department employees.
Utilize Knowledgemine packaging functions to record accurate production, down time, and rework information.
Ensure that employees are abiding by all Carl Buddig and Company policies via the Employee Handbook and Safety Manual.
Train new and existing employees on the required job duties.
Assist with conducting training for safety and quality.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Packaging Manager and or Packaging Supervisor.
Maintain work area in a clean and sanitary manner.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and
Experience:

Must work independently with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of maintenance process and effective use of work order system.
Minimum 5
years maintenance experience or 2
years of experience in a maintenance planner/scheduler position.
Excellent customer service skills.
Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Must be proficient in using CMMS software (previous system experience in MVP preferred).
Must have knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to legally work in the United States is required.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Working Condition and Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work 40 or more hours per week.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime if necessary.
Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
Must be able to work in temperatures of 40 degrees or less when needed.
Must be able to perform physical requirements of job as needed (i.
e.
bending, squatting, walking, reaching, pulling, pushing, crouching, standing, sitting, lifting to 100lbs).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
